Internet Cafe - Open 24hours

I remember Year1999 when i created my first email ID & when i today remember the same story i can't even imagine life without internet. It was a Sunday, we were just through with our intermediate exams. We got to know that internet cafe had come around near Govt. college. Myself & Puneet we thought of going to this cafe. Although Charges were Rs120/ hrs, we managed to spend fifty-fifty from our pocket moneys. We started with creating email ID in rediff, it took us almost 30-45mins as we were filling the registration form for the first time. At last we were able to create our first email Id's.  In today's era, most of the kids who have started going to school now have their facebook & twitter accounts. Dont know how far this will gooooooo, but as of this don't have any end.

Its a small story of how the internet services had grown drastically in India since last one decade. There had been full transformation in this field. Before i start my story let u read the interesting facts with history of Internet in India:

Internet in India was established almost 10 years ago, as ERNET. It was a joint undertaking of the Department of Electronics (DOE) of the Government of India, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), which provides technical assistance to developing nations. ERNET is one of the most successful operations that UNDP has funded. It established for India the idea that we can participate in the Internet. Currently ERNET operates many nodes and has a 64 Kbps link to USA via Mumbai.
All major nodes of ERNET are connected to each other using 9600 bps leased lines. These lines are being upgraded to 64 Kbps links. Over 200 academic and R&D groups exchange email with each other using ERNET. Over 8000 scientists and technologists have access to ERNET facilities. International access is provided over a 64 Kbps leased line, from NCST, Mumbai, to USA. Plans for ERNET include the creation of a satellite communication system to enable ERNET to reach locations which do not have good data communication links.

Grow Old with Someone you Love..............

My hair had gone grey, my eyes had gone weak. I am nearing onto my 70's, my old habits of late rising from sleep had changed. Now me and my wife had turned early risers. We are back from our morning walk. With a cup of tea, i am reading the newspaper headlines. Nothing much had changed politically in India all through these years. Priyanka Gandhi's son is on the verge to be the next prime minister of India, Kejriwal's son is still fighting against corruption. Lets put end to these newspaper stories here. Nikki (My Wife) is busy with her early morning Yoga session, she had turned 68 years old but still managed to looks 15 yrs younger than her age. I am gazing her my double lenses, its almost 40years of our togetherness and still it seems that we had just got married yesterday. Nikki raises her eyebrows from the corner and asks me whats in the breakfast honey? I distract myself and pretend that i had not heard her words. She speaks more louder with adding - "You...

Sharpen the Saw...............

Nobody starts walking with their birth............. There is a minimum period of 10-14 months after the birth human baby starts walking, even that too is not an easy path......But when babies are born one thing is inherent and gift of god which is Learning power. It starts as soon as baby comes to in their senses, they start learning from their surroundings, how to move hands, their speech therapy, their observing power. This shows how their mind is so pure and without any outer impurities so honest so true, which is why it is being said "Babies are Form of God's".  Babies start their journey from Crawling to walking which is big learning process but how quickly they learn is very surprising. Ancient India had proven this fact that whatever is being taught in early age of kids, their mind will grab it quickly. Proven example was Son of famous saint Ved Vyas whose name was 'Shuka' and he learned the entire scriptures and all four Vedas when he was not even born. T...

Too Much Thoughts......

Why do I think so much................. This is the standard question which we all ask ourselves very often, its human tendency to think wherever we get a break to our mind. Even at times without getting a break too, mind keeps on working in the background even if you are working on something, even when we are sleeping. It always ticking and its very difficult to control it. Most of our emotions are driven by the thoughts running in the background of our mind. we feel happy if the thoughts are positive, we feel sad if our thoughts in the background are negative. Mind runs faster than the speed of the light, within a second it can think continuously and simultaneously so many thoughts. Most of the time when i drive the car, in the background my mind will start checking the emails which i read 3-4 days back and for which response is yet to be done, or it will start thinking about my parents well being if they are fine and what they would be doing or about 2-3 months ahead what is ...
