Colors of my life

  I got an Idea to write about this subject after going through various articles on Hindustan Times and various sufferers of this social evil. Getting back to our Education system in India, i do very well remember my school days when we use to have several debates and essay competitions on the subject of Dowry system....But question arises.....is that learning is only for earning points and grades, Where our parents or gurdians portait and help us with writing this essay or debates. Is this learning is not what is expected out of us....to get rid of this social evil. This social evil is not new for India and is as old as our grand and grand parents.....Coming along with each generations of generations....Question arises which generation is going to put a complete full stop. In India its not been treated as social evil but as a social or relegious traditions, which at times are even linked with the Indian Gods. At times i feel so pity that are we not even competent or capable
